Why Connect Slack?
Slack integration provides instant, real-time alerts directly in your team's communication hub. Interactive buttons allow you to acknowledge and resolve alerts without leaving Slack.
Setup Instructions

Navigate to Integrations
Go to Settings → Integrations → Slack and click "Connect Slack Workspace".

Authorize the App
You'll be redirected to Slack. Sign in and select the workspace you want to connect. Click "Allow" to grant permissions.

Select Alert Channel
Choose which Slack channel should receive alerts. We recommend creating a dedicated #alerts or #scalelite-alerts channel.

Configure Alert Levels
Select which severity levels should be sent to Slack. Critical and High are enabled by default.

Test the Connection
Click "Send Test Alert" to verify the integration is working correctly.

Best Practices
- Dedicated channel: Create a separate channel for alerts to avoid noise
- Use threading: Responses to alerts are threaded automatically
- Mobile notifications: Ensure critical channels have mobile push enabled
- Channel mentions: Configure @channel or @here for critical alerts
