Playing a Recording
To play a recording:
- Navigate to Recordings
- Find the recording you want to watch
- Click the ▶ Play button
- The recording opens in a new browser tab

Playback Formats
BigBlueButton recordings may be available in multiple formats:
Presentation
Slides + audio + webcams in synchronized player
Video
Single video file (MP4) for download
Notes
Shared notes and chat log
Podcast
Audio-only version (MP3)
Sharing Recordings
To share a published recording:
Playback Controls
- Play/Pause: Spacebar or click the video
- Seek: Click on the progress bar or use arrow keys
- Speed: Adjust playback speed (0.5x - 2x)
- Volume: Adjust with slider or mute
- Fullscreen: Press F or click fullscreen button
- Captions: Toggle closed captions if available
Troubleshooting
- Recording not playing? Check if it's published and try refreshing
- Audio out of sync? Try a different browser or clear cache
- Video quality poor? Check network connection speed
- Format missing? Not all formats are available for every recording
